Here is one way that you can add threads to a part like a screw in CATIA:
1.First select the tap/thread icon
2.Slide 1 Setup initial conditions
3.Setup driving functions
4.Add design table and check your work

Pick Lateral Face and Limit Face, Slide 3
Enter in Thread Diameter, thread Depth, and pitch, Slide 4
Add formulas to diameter and thread depth
